It's great having talented youngsters and giving them a chance but you have to have a core of experienced players to guide them. Worry for these young girls because getting an absolute hammering every week is going to do great damage to there confidence. If I was the RFU I would be asking some serious questions of the DMP board. Are they living up to the commitments they gave during the last audit to secure there place in the Premiere 15s. If I was one of the sides who lost out I would be feeling quite angry about it.

Just read that article on Tam Taylor now it's her version of events but it seems a pretty shoddy way to treat anyone never mind a senior player and England International. It also makes no rugby sense losing all that experience on the pitch especially when you have such a young inexperienced side who would learn so much from her. Never mind what they are losing from the coaching side. The fact she was picked up by Saracens as player coach straight away and in light of the Sharks results so far it looks a terrible decision.

Yes sick of hearing that sides will only get better if they get exposure to tier 1 Nations. So to put that old pony in the bin Italy have only won 12 times since 2000. They haven't won since 2015 and to be honest the gap is as big if not bigger. So off to Div 2 5 Nations with Georgia,Romania, Russia and probably Spain.

Yes BB that's my worry. Is it the DoR or is it DMP not funding the Sharks properly to give them a chance of being competitive. Either way worrying times for ladies rugby in the region.

After watching Georgia last night and Italy today it's time to go back to a 5 Nations unless S Africa can be persuaded to head North. Quite simply Italy and Georgia are not up to it.

Nice to have some International Rugby on terrestrial TV. Interested to see how Georgia go in these games. I am sure they will want to make a point and put pressure on Italy and the 6 Nations decision makers. Hope they go well.

A little bit of light at the end of the tunnel. On Sky this morning Jerremy Farrar a scientist and a member of SAGE said there would be more than 1 vaccine available by early 2021.
