Apparently the weather contributed to DMP Sharks' 0-0 draw with Waterloo on Saturday.

Billingham III   v   Whitby II - Billingham easily
Bishop Auckland III   v   Wensleydale II - Wensleydale if they turn up.
Guisborough Monks   v   Stocktonians - Guisborough by stacks
Horden & Peterlee III   v   Sedgefield Saxons - Sedgefield
Middlesbrough A   v   Seaton Carew II - Boro
Newtonians   v   Richmondshire II - Newtonians obviously
Northallerton II   v   Redcar Mariners - Tough one to call but Northallerton have home advantage.

Aycliffe 15 Sunderland 26.  Two tries each, Aycliffe missed a few chances and Sunderland's goal kicking was excellent, two well-matched teams. Two converted tries in five minutes from Sunderland mid-way through the second half were decisive after Aycliffe led at the break.

How did everybody find the new World Rugby law amendments??

The main cause of penalties in the matches at Mowden was for kicking the ball through at rucks. There were also a couple for the tackler not going back through the gate to compete for the ball.

why cant 2nd teams join the leagues other counties do this but not sure how it works tho, if it keeps the lower leagues competitive why not !!!!!,

It can happen if the Divisional organisation committee approves. It happens down South and in Cumbria - but it doesn't seem to work very well in Cumbria as there are a lot of cry-offs.

All players must be registered with the main club and 2 teams from the same club can't play in the same league so a 2nd team couldn't be promoted into a league that their 1st team was in, and if the 1st team were relegated into the league the 2nd team were in the 2nd team would also be relegated (if there were no lower league they would effectively have to drop out of the league system).  2nd teams can't play higher than Level 8.

I don't know how they stop 1st teamers playing for the 2nd team if there is no 1st team league game.

The RFU site is missing some fixtures, the RFU North site has them all.

Billy looked like he'd been through the mill on Saturday, every time he made a tackle he struggled to get back - he needs a rest

Well if there is no level transfer between D&N 1 and Y1 for next season, 3 teams will be relegated from D&N 1 and 3 or 4 (depending on what you want to do with Acklam) relegated from D&N 2, so that wouldn't save Blyth either.
