"rugby fan" respect works both ways, respect the teams that you have had to take wins against whilst gaining promotion, for me a guard of honour isn't anything close to respect, its laughable - you gain the respect when all the games are done and dusted, points are tallied up and the job is done, not with 2 games left of the season.

Well done should be given to both teams on a successful campaign going up this year - when ever I have watched Barnie they have been actually very humble in victory.

If you want a guard of honor go be a footballfan not a rugbyfan....

Mr Bottoms is spot on, show us a club that have had that such a good year that a little arrogance hasn't crept in, but there is a fine line between arrogance and confidence, and confidence is what you need to move up!

A real shame for Wallsend and Houghton, I had Wallsend on my predictor to win last week to save themselves. I am sure we will see both clubs again really soon.
