The RGS 2nd and U16 XV's are playing against Austin Friars at Novos on Saturday morning (10.30 K.O) if anybody wants their pre-Saturday afternoon rugby fix!

Novos U18's vs. RGS II XV today at Sutherland Park 18:00

It should be a good game and will hopefully help continue reinvigorate the relationship between club and school.

FORTITER DEFENDIT TRIUMPHANS!

RGS Newcastle will be playing a fair few games at Novos in the next few months due to Scotland having sole access to their 1st XV pitch for the duration of the RWC.

Games include:

Northumberland U18s v RGS. Thursday 28th August 18:00

RGS v George Watsons. Saturday 5th September 11:00. The re-opening of all our pitches after 18 months of work. This is sure to be a busy day and a great game of rugby between two strong rugby schools. Novos 1st XV play host to Darlington in the afternoon.

RGS vs Wairora College. The pick of the bunch! The RGS take on a New Zealand touring school, full of Maoris whom will no doubt perform the Haka. If you don't have tickets to the New Zealand game at SJP, this is a great opportunity to see the Haka performed in person.

RGS vs Leeds Grammar School. Saturday 3rd October 11:00. Two fixtures as both 1sts and 2nd XV's take each other in in what is a busy day of rugby in Newcastle with the first RWC fixture to be played at SJP later in the day
