Best sit down

Novos 66, horden 12.... Unbelievable result. I'm very pleased as there still are some great people at novos... Despite me falling out with a few!

Durham City   32 - 25      Gateshead - Tough game for City but still pushing hard with BP wins
Gosforth      31 - 18      Acklam - Good result for Gossy
Medicals      33 - 23      Hartlepool Rovers - Rovers cant buy a win at Medics!
Novocastrians   66 - 19      Horden - Incredible result...  Are Novos genuine contenders
Ponteland      18 - 62      Middlesbrough - Poor Pont... tough start
Ryton      10 - 53      Consett - Consett bouncing back hard v Ryton
Stockton      92 - 7      Darlington - What s going on at Darlo?

A good game at Novos today. Lots went right for us and Horden scored 3 good tries of their own.

We have no delusions, we've started well but there's plenty of games to go and another 10 sides to play. We're just enjoying our rugby and it's great to play in a Novos side where everybody loves everybody!

I suppose the best way for everybody to love everybody is to throw out those who dont agree with the people in charge?

Whoops. That's a bit of an inside joke from Thursday...

No dig intended.

It's more to do with my shenanigans the other day! Badly worded. Don't take it the wrong way Badger; it reads the way you reacted to mind. Apologies.

Nearly went with Vo's but thought Horden would just edge it.

Was not expecting that!

Well done cracking result.

Do you think some of these results are due to the world cup,  and availabilities??  Some odd high scoring games!!!

I am new to the forum, it is fair to say that it is quite an eye opener. I should say I am a Novos man but I think we can all appreciate how great this next month or so will be. What a time to be involved with rugby! Hopefully the good times will keep on rolling. Having said that, I find it really disappointing some of the snipping and passive aggressive posts I've seen on here. I hope everyone had a fun day, after all that is why we turn up every Saturday.

In what way is it passive aggressive? If you read what I said originally I said I was pleased for my old mates at my old club. I thought that guv was having a pop so pulled him up... He accepted what he said could be construed as I had read and apologised and I accepted it.

Novos is a great club... With a lot if great people in it. That's why i was a member for so long... I assume if your a novos man you will be aware of who I am. I don't know who you are whether your one of the new or old crew.. However what I do know is your very likely to have only heard one side of a very sad story.

No real surprises there although I didn't pick Medicals to beat Rovers.

I hear their kicker won them the game.

What's going on at Darlo ? Early days for everyone but can they recover from their first three games ?
Rumoured that it didn't go 80 mins either.

Ponteland haven't carried their title winning confidence into this season. Can they stick together so they gather points when they get winnable fixtures ? Our first season in the league we only won three games all year !! Massive gap between leagues but we survived by getting bonus points

Lots to discuss.
