Whitby 57 Vulcans 10 I hope the Vulcans lads enjoy their night better than they did the game. It was a very bitty, frustrating and at times bad tempered affair with both sides finding it hard to get their game going. Whit wanted it fast and Vulcans tried to slow it down whenever possible. Close first half 12-5 at the break but as Vulcans tired the home backs cut loose to give the score a one sided look.

Winlaton held out for the first half against the better team,but the thought of free beer to quench their thirst got the better of them and Whitby ran out very comfortable winners

Rock did what they had to do at Ash, and did it well. Congratulations to Redcar, clearly the best in this division, and to Ponteland who by all accounts scraped in at Bish. Only losing 3 games this season they deserve it. We have a final with them next Saturday at Novo's, could be an interesting game that.
