Fixtures for 2017/18
« on: May 27, 2017, 05:20:40 PM »
RFU North have posted the fixtures for North 1 East, DN1 and Yorkshire 1/2/3 on their website. No sign of any for DN2 or DN3 but l'll shout out as soon as l hear otherwise.

They're probably trying to factor in Blyth seeing as they have also now been relegated from DN2

l think so. This relegation will represent a right kick in the teeth for Blyth after such a strong finish to last season for them.

With Acklam getting relegated from Yorkshire 1 they were level transferred back into DN2. l'm sure this left DN2 with 15 teams so poor Blyth got the shitty end of the stick and have been forced into coming down with South Shields and Seaton Carew.

Yes you are correct Neil.

Blyth in DN3 next season but not sure if they've appealed or not?

Plessey Road was always an enjoyable trip. Can't say it was a happy hunting ground for Seaham this side of the millennium but always enjoyed my visits. lf they do end up in DN3 l reckon they'll bounce straight back up.

It's not long ago that they had a good season in D and N 1. What on earth has happened?

The RFU site is missing some fixtures, the RFU North site has them all.

It would have been nice for RFU North to have waited until Blyth's appeal was even heard by RFU before releasing fixture list for DN2/DN3. I hope we get our 125 fee for the appeal back.

You should get a full refund and a letter of apology from the NCC. l also think one or two heads should roll from their ivory tower. How can teams advocate fair play and decency when the big wigs can't demonstrate the Core Values of our lovely game? Bloody idiots.
