Really? After your free pint at Ashington! 😂 But absolutely agree, Acklam best team and best hosts as well. Other notable club would be Sedgefield- good craic.

Ash are always a good club, and always put on a spread for us Rock Old Farts, we always enjoy our visits there. I look forward to more free beer next season as it looks like Whitby will take 2nd spot, itís all down to that last minute try your winger scored earlier in the season. What would DN2 be like without Rock, weíve been here for fecking years !

Quite a few years indeed! Iím still hoping Rock manage it.

A quick check sees Rockcliff were last in DN1 in 99-00 but were relegated to DN2. They were then relegated again in 2002 you DN3. Promoted back to DN2 in 2005.

13 years in a row. Letís hope that run ends!

There is an award called the whistlers trophy it is presented by the Durham Referee Society each year at the annual dinner, presented to the club that has got its organisation and hospitality right.
