Well done Seaton IIs
« on: February 23, 2019, 07:54:42 AM »
Bit late with this one but great game last weekend with Seaton IIs V Sedgefield Saxons. Both teams a bit low on numbers but we managed to even up and play 10 a side. Personally I was absolutely knackered when we came off that huge pitch of theirs but had a cracking day. This is what social/ merit league rugby is all about, a bunch of lads giving it 100% purely for the love of the game. The result was 54-48 to Seaton Carew but really could have been even closer. A big thanks from all at Sedgefield Saxons to all at Seaton Carew IIs for making the game happen.

The ref was excellent, a young lad who did the right things at the right time. He won't be reffing at our lowly level for long.

Out of interest, how long did you play for? Ten a side could knacker you very quickly.
