Im massively positive about it... they just need to tread carefully and do it the right way... They need to involve local clubs and make them part of it all... Much like the mens section do. I hope it works and they develop the game locally
Rugby is for everyone, not just the chosen few

I do find the ring fencing of the Ladies league odd, considering the RFU are yet to do it with the menís game.

Only had quick scan, but does that mean Exeter and Sale in, whilst Richmond and Firwood are out? There will be some opinions on that am sure, but they were the bottom two.

Glad DMP are through as the link up with a Durham Uni is pretty impressive, admit to bias though :-]

Thereís still time to appeal as all clubs have to sign contract of agreement.
Exeter were always going to get in, as the only club from South West. Firewood is a nice set up personally it has character. However I doubt it passed the facilities criteria.

I think the ring fence is some sort of safety net to allow them time to invest properly. DMP links with Durham uni will undoubtably have swayed the decision.

I assume this means the Falcons have given up on a ladies team? For a few years at least?
...?
